Profile methodology

How the five positions are reviewed.

Each practice area has a permanent cap of five published attorney profiles. The cap controls publication inventory; it is not an objective ranking system.

Permanent category cap

Each legal category contains no more than five published attorney profiles. Additional applicants may be declined or placed on a waiting list.

Lincoln-area connection

The profile must identify a lawyer or firm with a supportable Lincoln or Lancaster County connection relevant to the publication.

Practice-area support

A reliable public firm, attorney, or professional source must support the attorney’s connection to the selected practice area.

Factual verification

Name, firm, website, phone, and profile statements are checked against available public or authoritative sources before publication.

Commercial disclosure

Paid profiles must be clearly labeled as sponsored or paid placement. Payment is not represented as an award, rating, or independent endorsement.

Corrections and replacement

Factual corrections do not require payment. Expired, inaccurate, nonresponsive, or noncompliant profiles may be corrected, suspended, or replaced.

No exclusivity claim

A published lawyer is not claimed to be one of only five qualified attorneys in Lincoln. The limit applies only to this publication’s profile capacity.

No result guarantee

Placement does not guarantee leads, clients, legal outcomes, search rankings, or consumer suitability.
